Door Leaf & Frame
- No visible damage, cracks, or warping to the door leaf
- Door frame is securely fixed and free from damage
- Door closer is present, operational, and correctly adjusted
- Intumescent seals are intact, continuous, and correctly fitted
- Smoke seals are fitted where required and undamaged
- Gap between door leaf and frame is 3–4mm all around

- Letter plates have intumescent lining and are correctly fitted
Glazing & Vision Panels
- Fire-rated glazing is used in all vision panels
- Glazing beads are secure and made from compatible material
- Glass is free from cracks or damage
- Intumescent glazing seals are present and intact
Signage & Documentation
- Fire door keep shut signs are displayed on both sides
- Fire door keep locked signs fitted where required
- A current fire door certificate or inspection record exists
- Maintenance log is up to date with dates and actions
